Launch of Manx Bushcraft & Survival

Fraser Christian, a leading industry authority on bushcraft & survival recently returned to the land of his fathers to host the launch of a new venture to the island Manx Bushcraft & Survival, the brain child of local residents James Sandell and Ebo Lomas.

It is believed this event was the first of its type on the island to be hosted by a renowned industry personality, and it will not be the last!

James, Manx Bushcraft & Survival’s Bushcraft Instructor, has been involved in running local interest groups on Bushcraft & Survival for a number of years and following a partnership with Ebo, a Survival Instructor with experience in similar ventures in the UK, he is able to realise his dream of offering value for money bushcraft and survival workshops, short courses and advanced courses right here on the Isle of Man.

Manx Bushcraft & Survival work by the ethos of ‘doing more with less’ and aim to promote responsible utilisation of the countryside and coast, while providing people with the skills and techniques to help them be more prepared.

Workshops and courses will range from beginners to intermediate and more advanced 5 day courses. A range of available course dates for 2018, with content and prices, are soon to be released on http://bushcraft.im (currently under development by local web developer Sugarlump Studios).

Private courses can also be catered for and prices will vary depending on the requested content, location and number of participants. Discounts are available for youth organisations (minimum age 9).

To discuss a private Bushcraft & Survival Course, James and Ebo can be contacted on Facebook page Manx Bushcraft & Survival School or via email at manxbushcraftsurvival@gmail.com – please book early. Availability for 2017 is already full; bookings are now being taken for 2018.

Christmas gift vouchers for 2018 courses will be available to purchase during December.
